Nanjing International Symposium on "Brain-Mind-Intelligence"

The ultimate goal of neuroscience research is to elucidate the working principles and mechanisms of the brain, as well as to understand the "ultimate domain" of nature and humanity itself. The research of neuroscience includes studying the structure, function, mechanism, and application of the brain and neuroid; It can be conducted at multiple scales, including micro, meso, and macro, at the molecular, subcellular, cellular, tissue, loop, individual, population, and other levels. Scientists from different fields around the world are eagerly exploring the principles of brain intelligence from different perspectives and hoping to apply them to human life. Under the call and efforts of academician Yang Xiongli and other scientists, China's "Brain Plan" has entered the stage of implementing national major scientific plans. In order to promote the exchange and cooperation of scientists from different fields and regions in neuroscience and research technology, and to promote the exploration and application of brain intelligence principles, the "Children's Cognitive and Brain Dysfunction" Branch of the Chinese Neuroscience Society and the "Nanjing Institute of Brain Science and Intelligent Technology" (preparatory) and other units jointly launched a series of "Nanjing International Symposium on Brain Intelligence" and related technical training activities. I hope to use this to assist in the research and talent cultivation of Chinese neuroscience and intelligent technology.
At present, the Jiangbei New Area in Nanjing has introduced the "Nanjing Brain Observatory (NBO)" established by the micro in vivo two-photon technology of Academician Cheng Heping from Peking University; The SEU Allen Joint Center of Southeast University has established a single neuron morphology reconstruction technology in Nanjing; The fMOST technology established by the team led by Luo Qingming from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, as well as the Institute of Brainsmatics in Suzhou; In addition, there are multiple instrument and equipment research and development companies stationed in Nanjing. These institutions can provide internationally leading tools for neuroscience research and promote the research level of neuroscience in China.
